Fruitin chewable tablets are a natural source product that may be taken to help provide gneral stomach care on a daily/regular basis. Based on the unique microized fruit fibres it creates a soft, soothing coating to the stomach, helping to maintain balance and comfort.
It does not neutralise the natural strong acid in the stomach needed to digest complex proteins and other foods. Many authorities agree that reducing the concentration of gastric acid may result in an increased incidence of food allergies.
Attempts to neutralise the stomach acid with alkalis such as sodium bicarbonate may sometimes result in an overproduction of acid thus making the problem even worse.
Fruitin is suitable for use during pregnancy for general stomach care and balance.
